Microsoft Office 2003 in Short Supply

As most of our clients are running one of the Microsoft Office 2003 variants on
their PC's we are regularly asked to supply this version with new PC hardware.
This has always been possible despite the launch of Office 2007 but things are
changing.
 We
are finding it more and more difficult to source Office 2003 as the distribution
channel moves over to the new version. As a result we will have to switch
to Office 2007 but rest assured that we will work with client to ensure that any
compatibility issues are minimised.
One way to do this is to install the recently released Compatibility pack
from Microsoft which allows previous Office versions to open, edit and save in the new

Is this the end of the 17" Display ?

Over the past few months we have seen a sharp drop in the price of 19" 4:3 and
Widescreen LCD displays. At the same time 17" prices have remained steady
which has resulted in a closing of the price premium gap for the larger models.
This has become even more apparent recently as supplies of 17" models appear to
be dropping while the large distributors appear to
 be
increasing stock levels for the 19"+ equivalents.
In our opinion it now makes economical sense to move to 19" models for the
increase in 'desktop' space they offer and we will be starting to offer these as
the std size when ask to quote for a business PC.
